⭐️ Meet 2020 Drama Teacher Miss Corrie O’Brien ⭐️

Meet Corrie O’Brien - she’s fun, passionate and LOVES the performing arts!

This award winning young lady has moved home from studying the performing arts at the University of Newcastle to bring her passion to life through the students at Stacey Lee’s Centre Stage.

By the age of 15, Corrie had already started her own theatre company, attended over 7 years of NIDA workshops and studied all forms of the performing arts, including; instruments, singing, dancing, theatre tech and acting. She’s been the twice recipient of the NIDA scholarship awarded at the Taree Eisteddfod while also winning the Shakespeare category multiple years in a row. At the same time she has won numerous major awards at the Port Players Festival of One Act Plays over two consecutive years.

While attending Stagemites Drama School, with the amazing Marilyn Connors, Corrie discovered her love for coaching students. She stepped up into the role of teacher - enjoying the challenge of teaching teens and young children everything from the fundamentals of the stage to the wacky world of Commdeia dell’arte.

Corries smile is infectious and will bring so much joy to our SLCS Family and all of our students waiting to soak up all of her knowledge and creative skill.

*** Amazing News to All New Students/Parents ***

WE ARE NOT FULLY BOOKED FOR GROUP CLASSES (yet)!

It is simply the old system still in the back end of the website as we are just about to launch our shiny new one!

(Monthly payments created for simplicity and one less thing to remember)
_____________________________________________________________

All existing students keep their original spots unless going up an age bracket so there are still several spots available in each class!

We will also be bringing a new time slot to the table being an extra Musical Theatre class taught by Miss Stacey!

So there will be TWO Musical Theatre classes on a Tuesday! Woohoo!

6 - 9 Years - 3.45pm - 4.30pm
9 - 12 Years - 4.45pm - 5.45pm

Of course we will still be offering, Drama, Hip Hop, Dance/Movement and more within our air-conditioned studio!

Hope to see all at our open day - and if you cannot get there, simply register on line in your jammies 🙂
